The 7 Jumps Race card event is a whirlwind of kids’ races, Shetland pony racing, magic shows and more!
From the moment gates open, the unplugged all-singing, strolling The Snap Chaps will be playing music to get you moving and your feet tapping. Before the horseracing stars even take to the course, the cute and popular Shetland Pony Racing will make its return, followed by races for the kids on the track. Though there will be no jumping over the hurdles for the young ones . . . we'll leave that to the Jumps racing professionals!
Elsewhere, on the other side of the track, will be a variety of free children’s entertainment for the littles ones to let out their excitement. Get ready for bouncy castles, carnival games, live music and non-stop fun!
As well as free entertainment and entry for under-18s, there’s a warm welcome for well-behaved dogs, with a series of drinking stations across the site to keep them hydrated throughout the race day action.
On top of all the Jumps racing action, delicious food and drink concession stands will offer sweet and savoury delights. Families are also invited to take picnics to this race day, which can be enjoyed in the picnic area to make the most of your quality family time in the beautiful outdoors of the Huntingdonshire air. General Manager Daniel Craggs said: “I, and the whole team, can’t wait to celebrate our Season Finale, after what has been a fantastic 2023 -2024 season for everyone involved, from the horses, owners, trainers and winning connections to racing fans – we’ve plenty to celebrate!”
He added: “On top of this, after the success of our Countryside Raceday earlier this spring, we’re thrilled to be announced as a dog-friendly racecourse for future fixtures with exceptions for specified feature racedays. Before we close for our summer break, I look forward to welcoming racegoers and families to our Summer Carnival Season Finale.”
